When something just feels wrong, that is your intuition speaking to you, letting you know that something is off. If you doubt your decision at any point, don’t do it!

2. Say “exactly” what you mean.
You should always speak from your heart and say exactly what you mean. Others may not like it, but they will respect you for it.

3. Don’t be a people pleaser.
If you’re a “people pleaser”, then people are always taking advantage of you. You’re also probably not getting what you want out of life. Stop thinking about what would make others happy and focus on what you need.

4. Trust your instincts.
Take small steps in the beginning to slowly build your trust with your intuition. Using your ‘gut’ feeling, practice with day-to-day decisions to sharpen your skills. Then when it comes to making an important decision, you will be more comfortable and less doubtful in your abilities to listen to your instincts.

5. Never speak bad about yourself.
There are many other subtle ways we denigrate ourselves with words.  Pay attention to what you say for a day or two. If you find yourself saying “bad” things about yourself, now is the perfect time to tweak your conversation!

6. Never give up on your dreams.
Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.

7. Don’t be afraid to say “NO”
Saying no won’t be easy if you’re used to saying yes all the time. But learning to say no is an important part of simplifying your life and managing your stress. And with practice, you may find saying no gets easier.

8. Don’t be afraid to say “YES”
Saying yes begins things. Saying yes is how things grow. Saying yes leads to knowledge. “Yes” is for young people. So for as long as you have the strength to, say “YES”.

9. Be kind to yourself.
Being kind to yourself means allowing yourself to feel whatever it is you are feeling at that moment. Instead of judging your emotions or trying to numb them, you give yourself permission to experience them, without judging yourself.

10. Let go of what you can’t control.
Let go of what you can’t control. God never gives a person more than they can handle. So have a little faith and keep your head up because counting your blessings and not your problems is a great way to stay positive and live a happy life.

11. Stay away from drama & negativity.
Letting go of negative people doesn’t mean you hate them, or that you wish them harm; it just means you care about your own well-being.  Because every time you subtract negative from your life, you make room for more positive.

12. LOVE.
If you give a little love you can get a little love of your own. If you give a little love then it all comes back to you, you know you’re gonna be remembered for.
